I first met Londoño Medina, now VEXIA, in 2017 in the “Apparel Production Management” course at Universidad EAFIT. Then, in 2018 I advised them on implementing 3 Lean modules when they had only 20 operators, and in 2019 I connected them with 5inco S.A.S., a company dedicated to full package manufacturing for export, where the entire full package structure they needed was developed.

We met again in 2022 and, with the support of the government program “Fábricas de Productividad” (Productivity Factories), we are fine-tuning the Lean modules, which now number almost 10, since their capacity had to grow to 80 operators thanks to projected sales 100% dedicated to export-grade full package swimwear manufacturing for the USA.

After 2 demanding months, we have far exceeded the initial goal of increasing productivity by 8% in a new pilot module.
